Liga 2 Stopped, The Banda Aceh City Government Revokes The Persiraja Kandang Stadium Usage Permit

JAKARTA - The Banda Aceh City Government (Pemko) has temporarily revoked the permit to use the H Dimurthala Lampineung Stadium, which has been the home of the Persiraja Banda Aceh team during the 2022/2023 Indonesian League 2 competition.

"We convey that starting January 6, 2023, we will temporarily revoke the recommendation for permission to use the H Dimurthala Stadium," said Head of the Banda Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) Reza Kamilin, in Banda Aceh, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, January 14.

Reza said the revocation of the permit was due to the end or the 2022/2023 Indonesian League 2 competition was no longer continued, and it was also in accordance with the recommendation letter for the use of the stadium previously given.

In the recommendation letter, the permit for the use of the H Dimurthala Lampineung Stadium to Persiraja Banda Aceh is valid from September 8, 2022 until the end of Liga 2.

"Incidentally, last January 12, PSSI stated that League 2 was stopped, so Persiraja's permit to use the stadium also ended in the final on that day," he added.

The revocation, said Reza, was also used for the smooth management and maintenance of the H Dimurthala Lampineung Stadium, which is an asset belonging to the Banda Aceh City Government under the management of Dispora.

"Revocation of permits for the use of this stadium, in my opinion, is commonplace and common. After we revoke it, we immediately tidy up the long grass," he asserted.

Later, continued Reza, if there is clarity regarding the continuation of Liga 2 for the 2022/2023 season, and Persiraja wants to reuse the H Dimurthala Lampineung Stadium in accordance with applicable regulations.
