JAKARTA - Indonesian mixed doubles, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja, managed to get past the heavy obstacles in the second round of the Malaysia Open 2023.Dejan/Gloria eliminated the 5th seed from Hong Kong, Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet.

In the match at Axiata Arena, Thursday, January 12 morning WIB, Dejan/Gloria won with a score of 21-17 and 21-16 and led them to the quarter-finals. In the advanced round they will challenge South Korean representatives, Kom Wo Ho/Jeong Na Eun.

Dejan/Gloria are certainly grateful to be able to escape after fighting hard. However, there is no complacency because they feel they still have to focus on looking at the next round.

Regarding the opponent's game in the second half, Gloria also admitted that Tang/Tse had made it difficult for them in the second set. However, they were lucky that everything could be overcome and returned to securing the final point.
