Daley Blind Knows The Chance To Not Come Two Times, Opportunities To Join Bayern Munich Directly Take

JAKARTA - Daley Blind surprisingly moved to Bayern Munich after being released by Ajax Amsterdam. Previously, the Dutch defender was linked to Royal dayerp.

However, the opportunity to join the leaders of the German Bundesliga came. He didn't waste it either.

Blind is committed to playing for Bayern on a six-month contract. The 32-year-old added the Bavarian giant to the list of big clubs he has played for besides Ajax and Manchester United.

"I can't wait to play here. We have the most important part of the season, where it has to do with titles. Clubs like Bayern can win every trophy," Blind said.

"Having a hunger for title here at the club is the key to my decision. I hope to bring my experience to help the team. I will give everything for Bayern Munich," he continued.

Blind traveled to Germany on Thursday, January 5 local time, before undergoing a medical test with Bayern. He had a cardiover-defibrillator implant, a device similar to a hearing, after being diagnosed with heart problems in December 2019.

"We are delighted that Daley joined our team. Daley is a versatile defender, able to play left or in the middle. He has great international experience and leadership qualities. I am sure he will help us," said Bayern Sports Director Hasan Salihamidzic.

Daley Blind's golden age is arguably not over. He contributed to the goal for the Dutch national team while fighting in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

During two periods in Ajax, he made more than 300 appearances and won the Eredivisie on seven occasions. Only Johan Cruyff and Sjaak Swart won more league titles with the Amsterdam giants by winning eight titles each.

He was officially released by the Dutch champion on December 27. Ajaxm boss Edwin van der Sar, hopes Blind can find another club to end his successful career. That hope finally materialized.
