Cristiano Ronaldo Hides His Tongue When Talking To The Press At Al Nassr Headquarters

JAKARTA - Cristiano Ronaldo has been officially introduced as part of Saudi Arabia's club, Al Nassr, Tuesday, January 3 local time. He also met with the media at Al Nassr's headquarters, Mrsool Park Stadium.

On one occasion, Cristiano Ronaldo even mistakenly mentioned the new country where he played. He is not Saudi Arabia, but instead mentions South Africa.

In the moment of a press conference with the media, Ronaldo did talk a lot about his decision to move to Al Nassr. According to Ronaldo, this move is not the end of his career on the gridiron but a new challenge.

That's when the moment that stole the show happened. When explaining why he was willing to join Al Nassr, Ronaldo even called Al Nassr a South African team.

"Football here is different. So, I don't think it's the end of my career coming to South Africa and that's what I want to change," said Cristiano Ronaldo.

"To be honest, I don't care what people say, I am responsible for this decision," he continued as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Although it immediately became a concern, Ronaldo's mistake this time seems to be still understandable. Because he has also just stepped on his feet in Saudi Arabia and still needs to be adjusted to his new career.

After officially leaving Manchester United, Ronaldo agreed to sign a new contract with Al Nassr for two years. The mega star gets a contract value of 200 million euros or IDR 3.3 trillion per year.

With such a large contract value, Ronaldo also cannot be separated from polemics. He was considered a footballer who only prioritized material until he finally docked with Saudi Arabia, even though many assumed that he could still have a career in Europe as long as he wanted to lower the price tag.
