JAKARTA - Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are getting ready to sign a contract for the undisputed world champion fight which is planned to be held in early 2023.

Fury and Usyk have reportedly agreed on a duel for the unification of the four heavyweight division belts. Currently, England and the Middle East are the favorite locations for this duel.

Fury's co-promotor Frank Warren said the deal for the duel against WBA champions WBO, IBF, IBO Usyk was just a matter of time.

"There is a great desire to make this fight a reality between the two camps. This is just a problem where and how much [money they can get]," he said as quoted by Boxing Scene, Saturday, December 31.

Fury and Usyk currently hold the four main heavyweight world title belts. Therefore, their fight is highly anticipated.

Fury has just beaten England rival Derek Chisora for the third time to defend his WBC title earlier this month. Usyk holds the IBF, IBO, WBO and WBA championship belts, having beaten Anthony Joshua in a rematch last August at King Abdullah Sports City, Saudi Arabia.

"Of course they are good people to discuss and we are all positive enough to solve it [the deal]," Warren said.

Former cruiserweight champion Johnny Nelson previously suggested that Fury should fight Usyk at Wembley Stadium. The location is considered the most potential for a boxing audience record in England.

Fury, 34, managed to gather 94 thousand spectators at Wembley in April when he beat Dillian Whyte. The crowd is the largest in British boxing history.

Meanwhile, Warren himself has not given a strong signal regarding the location of the fight. He only said the duel might have occurred in the nearest March.

"The date may be in March. That's where we are, early March. But no agreed location yet. We are still negotiating for the location," he said.
