Chelsea Finally Found A Replacement Of Petr Cech, Former Employee RB Leipzig Appointed To Be New Technical Director

JAKARTA - Chelsea has confirmed the arrival of Christopher Vivell as their new technical director.

Vivell previously worked at RB Leipzig. At the German club, he is responsible for recruiting and monitoring all age groups.

"Chelsea FC proudly announced the appointment of Christopher Vivell. He soon joined as director of Chelsea FC's new technique," the club said in a statement on their official website.

Chelsea boss Todd Boehly said Vivell would provide support for Graham Potter's manager in fixing the squad. He was also happy that Christopher wanted to take on this important leadership role.

The jobs in Germany and Austria speak for themselves. We are sure he will continue his impressive track here at Chelsea," Boehly said.

"He will provide important support to Graham and play an important role in advancing our overall vision for the club."

Vivell, who replaces the legend of the Petr Cech club, said Chelsea was building the most exciting project in global football. For that, he feels very proud to be joining them.

"There is so much potential to continue to grow and grow," he said.

Prior to his career in Germany, Vivell spent five years with Leipzig's club brother RB Salzburg. He successfully spawned star players at the two clubs.
