Ahead Of The End Of Liga Season 1 2022/2023, Javier Roca Answeres Arema's Issue Will Runbak Squad

YOGYAKARTA - Arema FC coach Javier Roca answered the issue related to the reshuffle of his squad as the 2022/2023 Liga 1 season ended. He admitted that there needed to be an evaluation.

This was conveyed by the coach from Chile after the Arema FC match against Madura United at the Sultan Agung Stadium, Yogyakarta, Tuesday, December 20. In the 16th week meeting, Singo Edan lost 0-2 to his opponent.

The results of this match further emphasized the question of the feasibility of his squad throughout the first round. However, Javier Roca emphasized that all of his players deserve to wear Arema FC costumes, there are only a few things that need to be evaluated.

"We don't have any team leaders yet. There are no inappropriate words," Javier Roca said after the match on Tuesday, December 20.

"All the players deserve Arema's costume. We will evaluate it more into certain positions," continued the coach.

Despite revealing the evaluation for the team, Roca still cannot explain much about the aspects that will be addressed. He and the coaching team will still follow the next developments and remain optimistic about the high target with Arema FC.

"But we haven't spoken in too much detail (about the evaluation). We are still looking at developments," he said.

"The target after yesterday's incident is like what. Big teams like Arema are targeted every time they are champions. But we'll see later. We'll evaluate internally," concluded Javier Roca.

Losing three points from Madura United in the 16th week made Arema FC thrown in seventh place in the 2022/2023 Liga 1 standings. With 26 points, Javier Roca's side still have a chance to jump to the top ranks because their difference in points with the first-placed team is only four points.
