JAKARTA Qatar's 2022 FIFA World Cup is officially over after the Argentine final against France. The following is a list of the 10 best players during the tournament.

In the 2x15 minute half, Messi and Mbappe both scored again which forced the position to a 3-3 draw until the long whistle. On penalties, Aurelien Tchouameni and Kingsley Coman failed to carry out their duties for France.

Lionel Messi (Argentina)

Messi is in the top position thanks to his usual extraordinary journey in Qatar. The 35-year-old was a key player on Argentina's way to the final.

He became the second player with the highest number of goals, which was seven goals. He also contributed three assists in seven appearances and was named the best player in the tournament who brought home the Golden Ball.

Kylian Mbappe (France)

The three goals scored against Argentina in the final match saw Paris Saint-Germain's top scorer top and take home the Golden Boot award. He was one goal ahead of Messi.

Mbappe scored a total of eight goals and provided two assists in seven appearances in the tournament. Unfortunately, he and France failed to defend the title won in Russia four years ago.
