JAKARTA - Portugal coach Fernando Santos confirmed his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo did not change even though his captain was a reserve in a 6-1 win over Switzerland at the World Cup, Wednesday, December 7, early in the morning WIB. Ronaldo was dropped on the bench after Santos expressed disappointment with the player's attitude when he was replaced when Portugal lost to South Korea in the final group stage. Santos said on Monday the matter had been resolved internally.

Santos reiterated that all the problems had been resolved. He even said the megastar was an extraordinary example for other Portuguese players.
