Sandy Walsh's Target After Becoming A Full Indonesian National Team Player: Winning Every Tournament

JAKARTA - Naturalized player Sandy Walsh can now breathe a sigh of relief. The player has received permission from FIFA to be able to defend the Indonesian national team.

After completing the naturalization process of becoming an Indonesian citizen, Sandy then got approval from FIFA to change federations.

The player who now plays in Belgium admitted that I had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Currently, Sandy is officially part of the Indonesian national team. "I also had time to join (TC) for a while in Bandung, but now my real day as an Indonesian national team player. I feel very happy from day one," Sandy Walsh said on PSSI's official website.

Sandy Walsh also has a high target after becoming a fully Indonesian national team player. Unmitigated, he is aiming for titles in all tournaments attended by the Garuda Squad

This includes the 2022 AFF Cup winners, which will be rolling in the near future.

"My target (I) always win tournaments. Every time we start a tournament, we have to have the highest possible target. And we know last year this team reached the final. It was a great moment and now is the time for us to win that tournament," said Sandy Walsh.

In the 2022 AFF Cup, the Indonesian national team is in Group A with Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia and Brunei Darussalam. Cambodia became the first opponent of Sandy Walsh and his friends on December 23.
