JAKARTA - Liga 1 2022/2023 competition is likely to roll again in the near future. However, the match in the remaining half of this first half will be centered.

PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) will hold a continuation of Liga 1 with a bubble system in Central Java. This system will last until the end of the first round or until the match week 17th.

Although the first half is not over yet, the top team of Liga 1, Persija Jakarta, has already thought of preparing for the second half of the competition. One thing that has begun to be prepared is the home.

In four home games at the beginning of the 2022/2023 season, the Kemayoran Tigers used Patriot Stadium, Bekasi, as headquarters. In the second half later, Persija management hopes to use the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

This was conveyed by the President of Persija, Mohamad Prapanca. "We are ready to use the GBK for the second round of the season," Prapanca was quoted as saying on the club's official website, Tuesday, November 29.

"Judging from various aspects, of course GBK deserves to be used as Persija's home in Liga 1," he continued.

Prapanca said, GBK has a strong inner bond with Persija Jakarta. The 11th title was won when Persija used GBK as a home stadium.

"Not only that, the determination of the title was also present at GBK when the last match managed to beat Mitra Kukar 2-1 (9 December 2018)," said Prapanca.

Persija's status as a club with a large supporter base also makes SUGBK very suitable to be the home of the Kemayoran Tigers. Understandably, the pride of Indonesia stadium has a large capacity, which is around 77 thousand spectators.
