Mayweather Boasted That Raup Was Only Rp11.7 Trillion In Three Matches, All Thanks To Large Structures At The Beginning Of Careers

JAKARTA - Floyd Mayweather made a statement that made him shake his head. He claims, he once made US$750 million or equivalent to Rp11.7 trillion.

It was the result of major gambling in his career. He made a bold move by paying US $ 750 thousand (around Rp. 11.7 billion) to terminate his contract with Top Rank.

Mayweather claims to have made 1.2 billion dollars throughout his career out of a fight prize. More than half resulted from his fight against Canelo Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor.

If you look at his status in his heyday, the American boxing legend's statement could make sense. Mayweather is known as the king of the pound-for-pound and box office pay per view.

"My philosophy never stops getting it (money). Money is above the inheritance. I invest in myself," said the 45-year-old as reported by The Sun.

He then told about his decision to leave Top Rank which led him to success. The move that makes Mayweather now in money.

"Remember I've been with a company, I don't need to mention the name of the company, but I've been with this company for a very long time. As soon as I bought myself out of my contract for 750 thousand dollars, I left and in my first fight, I made a lot of money when I became my own boss," said Mayweather.

"In three fights, Canelo, Pacquiao, and McGregor, I made USD 750 million in just three fights."

He then gave tips to his fans to be like himself.

"So, it's all about being smart, playing chess in the real world, and surrounding yourself with great people and people who believe in you and believe in your goals," said the fighter from the United States.

"Always know that you are not the only smart person in that room.iling yourself around with smart people, being smart, and always knowing there are no limits how far we can go and how far we can develop," he concluded.
