France National Team Calls Randal Kolo As Change Christopher Nkunku, Here's His Trace Record

JAKARTA - Christopher Nkunku's injury forced him to cancel appearing for the French national team at the 2022 World Cup. This situation made the coach, Didier Deschamps, rack his brain to find a replacement.

Deschamps then entrusted Randal Kolo Muani to join Les Bleus' squad to fill Nkunku's vacant position. The flexibility of the Frankfurt Eintracht striker is projected to strengthen the team's front line.

In fact, Randal Kolo is not a player who has a lot of experience with the national team. He has only appeared for Les Bleus twice, as quoted by The Athletic on Thursday, November 17.

He made his debut on September 22 against Austria. Three days later he returned to face Denmark. However, all of his performances were just a substitute.

While at club level, Randal just joined Eintracht Frankfurt last season. Of his 23 appearances, he has recorded eight goals and 11 assists.

The assist note he has recorded is proof that Randal is not only a goal-hungry striker, but also a player who prioritizes the interests of the team. Although not the first choice, the 23-year-old could be Didier Deschamps' hope that has been widely twisted about injured players.

When receiving an emergency call to fill Nkunku's position, Randal was found to be undergoing a training camp with the Frankfurt squad in Japan. He is excited and will immediately depart from Japan to gather with the French squad in Doha on Thursday, November 17.
