PSG Galtier Coach With Comments That Can Make Mbappe Coup Hot

JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) coach, Christophe Galtier said, nothing bigger than the club. Even the figure of Kylian Mbappe.

This was revealed after the player made a final decision to stay with Les Parisiens. At the end of his contract last season, Mbappe was said to be joining Real Madrid.

However, he finally chose to sign a new three-year contract with the Ligue 1 champion. Mbappe's sudden decision to stay in Paris led to speculation that the team gave him the lure of exclusive power.

Galtier gave clarification. The coach said the 23-year-old did not enjoy any special treatment on the team.

Mbappe even remains in the same position as the other players in the squad, including Messi and Neymar.

"He (Kylian Mbappe) realized the project (contract extension), no doubt. But, when I said that he realized the project, it wasn't because he was bigger than the club," Galtier was quoted as saying by Livescore on Wednesday, November 16.

The man is at the same level as all the other players. He is at the same level as Leo Messi, who has an extraordinary career, who is the greatest player in football history. Kylian is at the same level as Neymar," Galtier continued.

The coach said the striker defended for loving PSG and would continue to play at the club after rejecting Madrid last summer.

"Obviously he fell in love with PSG, but he paid close attention to Real Madrid. He made the decision to stay. He made a strong decision and he must be respected for that. He must have respect," he added.

Mbappe has now joined France's national team for the 2022 World Cup and will hope to defend his title in Qatar.
