Officially Become A Civil Servant, Fajar Alfian: Awards That Make Parents Now Support Their Children Become Sportsmen

JAKARTA - A number of Indonesian athletes have been officially appointed as Civil Servants (PNS) within the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora). Among them are badminton players who are still active in PBSI.

The names are Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Hendra Setiawan, Mohammad Ahsan, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon to Fajar Alfian. The moment of appointment of badminton players as civil servants is known from uploads on social media.

From the upload on Fajar Alfian's account, it can be seen that he and a number of other athletes pose in formal suits in the form of white shirts, black pants with matching colored ties.

These athletes officially become civil servants after going through training education at the Defense Functional Education and Technical Training Center (Pusdiklat Tekfunghan) which is part of the Education and Training Agency of the Ministry of Defense in Central Jakarta.

Accompaniing the photo of togetherness after being appointed as a civil servant, Fajar Alfian wrote a statement thanking the government, especially the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

"Thank you very much to the government @kemenpora for your appreciation, from CPNS 2018 and now officially become a civil servant in 2022 through training education at @pusdiklat_tekfunghan," Fajar said in the photo upload.

Not only that, but Muhammad Rian Ardianto's duet partner also said that his career as an athlete to become a civil servant was the fruit of his hard work. This includes prayers and support from the family.

"It is a meaningful gift for us that parents now support their children to become sportsmen who defend this nation who have provisions in the future," added Fajar.

In Lilyana Natsir's upload, several other athletes such as Hafiz Faizal, Edi Subaktiar, Ketut Mahadewi, Debby Susanto, were also among the wushu athletes Edgar Marvelo who were at the event. Also present were former outstanding athletes who won the gold medal at the Tontowi Olympics Ahmad and Greysia Polii.

The upload, which was shared by Fajar Alfian, then drew a positive response from badminton fans. They congratulated the achievements that have been made by the athletes.
