Arema FC Has Not Yet Determined Kandang-Regarded Steps In Advanced Liga 1 2022/2023

Arema FC has yet to determine the stadium that will be used as a home in the remainder of Liga 1 2022/2023. The management of the Malang club is still waiting for confirmation about the fate of the competition.

As is known, Arema FC can no longer use Kanjuruhan Stadium as a cage in the remaining 2022/2023 Liga 1. This is the aftermath of the tragedy that occurred on October 1, where as many as 153 people died.

Commissioner of PT Arema Aremania Bersatu Berkpresasi Indonesia (PT AABBI), Tatang Dwi Arifianto said, his party is still waiting for the format for the continuation of Liga 1 this season.

"The certainty of where the Arema FC venue after receiving punishment from the PSSI Komdis post-tragedi Kanjuruhan, will certainly be confirmed soon and is currently waiting for the decision on what the format for the continuation of the competition will be," Tatang said as reported by Antara, Monday, November 7.

Tatang explained that until now Arema FC stated that they were still waiting for confirmation of the continuation of the League 1 competition. There are a number of options mentioned that Liga 1 will start on November 18 or 25 and no later than December 2, 2022.

As is known, the fate of Liga 1 was discussed by PT LIB, PSSI and high-ranking participating clubs on November 4, 2022 yesterday. During the meeting, the format of the competition also became a serious discussion regarding the continuation of Liga 1.

There are two options if the competition continues, namely using the away cage scheme or the bubble system.

"Those two things, home away or centralized bubble, are still being discussed. But we believe this will be confirmed as soon as possible," he added.

In addition, the meeting also discussed the date of the start of the Indonesian football competition. President Commissioner of PT LIB, Juni Rachman, revealed that there are three options for the date when Liga 1 will restart.

"Starting from November 18, November 25, and December 2," said June Rachman, a few days ago.
