Responding To The Shot- Dead Rapper Takeoff, Jake Paul Invites Young People To Work On Differences Over Rings

JAKARTA - Rapper Takeoff, was shot and killed on Tuesday in a fight at the Houston status arena. Jake Paul reacted by sending a message to teenagers to put down their weapons.

Paul, who slowly improved his boxing skills and won his sixth professional victory on Saturday by beating UFC legend Anderson Silva, responded to the news via Twitter.

"Precise killings must stop. It is necessary to unify. RIP TAKEOFF. For all young people... Place weapons and take some boxing gloves to solve your differences. Violence is not the answer," tweeted The Problem Child.

Beyond Takeoff's death, the 25-year-old is expected to be ranked the World Boxing Council (WBC) in the coming days.

In an interview with The MMA Hour, Jake also responded to rumors that he was cheating in a win over Silva cheating and how little respect he had gained since becoming a professional boxer.

"It's sad because I worked so hard for this. I dedicate everything," he was quoted as saying by Marca, Wednesday.

"Serving everything, asking a team of 15 members to work around the clock to help me become the best boxer, and when I do something like beat Anderson Silva, they try to take it from me.

"But, I know far below the heart, and I think that's all that matters."

However, Georges St-Pierre, who is a commentator on the battle of Jake vs Silva, praised the two, especially for the youtuber.

"I was very impressed with Jake Paul's performance," he said.

He pointed out once again that he had improved rapidly since his last fight. He showed a lot of discipline. He didn't fall into the hoax of Anderson Silva's mind.

"He's not just a headhunter, he set his head shot with lots of good body shots too, and he showed a very efficient and compact defense. It was a great performance."
