Trial Against Moldova, Indonesian National Team Midfielder U-20 Call Communication On Field So An Important Factor

JAKARTA - The Indonesian U-20 national team will again conduct trials on the training camp (TC) agenda in Turkey. This time, Shin Tae-yong's team will fight Moldova twice.

The first tryout against Moldova will take place today at 19.30 WIB. Ahead of the match which took place in Antalya, U-20 national team midfielder, Dony Tri Pamungkas revealed the team's main focus for maximum performance.

The young player who graduated from Persija Jakarta said communication was the main factor so that Garuda Muda players could be united.

"We are all trying to make it even better in the future. We have to improve communication on the ground again so that we play more okay and compactly," said Dony Tri, quoted from the PSSI website, Monday, November 1.

Previously, the U-20 Indonesian national team had played two test matches while undergoing TC in Turkey.

In the first trial, the U-20 Indonesian national team won against the local Cakkalikli Spor team with a score of 2-1. After that, the national team faced Turkey U-20 but lost 1-2.

The defeat to Turkey in the second test was an important lesson for Shin Tae-yong. According to him, at that time the front line of the team was less sharp and the defense was still weak in anticipating the rapid counter-attack launched by Turkey.

Those two factors are corrected by the coach and will be proven against Moldova tonight. After this third test match, the Indonesian U-20 national team had a two-day gap before returning to play against the same team on Friday, November 4.
