51 Name Super Ticket Winners For PB Djarum 2022 Directly Live With Quarantine 3 Weeks

JAKARTA - The general talent finder team PB Djarum 2022 has announced the names of young quality badminton players who received Super Tickets. The number is 51 participants.

Head of the 2022 General Talent Finding Team Sigit Budiarto said that although the 51 participants had received Super Tickets, they had not actually passed to become PB Djarum fostered athletes. They still have to go through a series of other tests during quarantine.

Furthermore, 51 participants will immediately undergo quarantine for three weeks at the Djarum PB Dormitory in Kudus.

The Coordinator of the PB Djarum Women's Talent Searcher, Yuni Kartika, added that there are several tests that will be carried out during quarantine, ranging from physical tests, medical tests, and psychological tests consisting of reasoning tests to see athletes' intelligence in playing and how to solve problems in the field.

The aspect will be more visible in the details of the participants apart from the tournament. It's possible, it turns out that the physical is weak, the muscle strength is lacking, the leg strength is lacking. So quarantine is needed after choosing the children," he said.

The 51 participants who received Super Ticket consisted of 16 female U-11 athletes, 10 male U-11 athletes, 9 female U-13 athletes, and 16 male U-13 athletes.

They got a Super Ticket after undergoing the General Assembly of PB Djarum 2022 which took place on October 18-23 at GOR Djarum, Jati, Kudus.

Dozens of young badminton players received Super Tickets from two selection lines, consisting of 16 tournament participants and 35 participants through the Super Ticket lane specifically for the PB Djarum talent search team.

They were screened from about 2,300 participants. The 51 participants have gone through a series of selections ranging from stage I screening, stage II screening, before the athletes were pitted against each other to get the best players in the knockout phase of the tournament which was attended by 543 participants.
