The striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly not going to be taken by Inter Milan when he meets Fiorentina in Week 11 of the Italian League at the Artemio Franchi Stadium, Florence, Saturday night local time.

Quoted by Antara from Football Italia, Friday, Lukaku reportedly attended a training session with the Inter squad, but coach Simone Inzaghi was reluctant to rush into involving a Belgian striker in a competitive match.

Even so, it is reported that Lukaku continues to strive to return to full fitness and has the ambition to help Inter in all competitions before the competition stops due to the 2022 World Cup break next November.

This season Lukaku has only made two appearances in the Italian League with one goal each and an assist from a total of 227 minutes of play.

In the third match of the Italian League this season, when Inter Milan against Lazio, Lukaku had to be withdrawn in the 69th minute to be replaced by Edin Dzeko due to a muscle injury he suffered.

Romelu Lukaku is known to have been brought in by Inter from Chelsea in last summer's transfer window on loan for a full season without any purchase options.

Inter reportedly had to spend 12 million euros, including additional details regarding performance and bonuses to bring the player born in Antwrep, Belgium.

In addition, Lukaku is reportedly ready to accept a 30 percent reduction in salary from what he received at Chelsea in order to anchor to Giuseppe Meazza in the transfer market last summer, while Inter were assisted by tax cuts during the deal on June 30.

Lukaku hopes he can repeat his success with Inter where in the 2020/21 season they will be able to come out as champions of the Italian League.

That season, Lukaku was recorded to have appeared in 36 Italian League games and recorded 24 goals, much different from when he played Chelsea this season, when the former Everton player scored 8 goals in 26 Premier League games.
