Failed To Finish In Moto3 Australia, Mario Aji: I MADE A Mistake

JAKARTA - Indonesian racer, Mario Aji, won a disappointing result in the Australian Moto3 race last weekend. He failed to finish in the race which took place at the Phillip Island Circuit, Sunday, October 17.

Actually, the Honda Team Asia racer appeared impressive at the start of the race. Starting from the 28th position, he then improved his position.

Mario Aji managed to penetrate until his 19th position. However, he made a mistake that made him fail to finish.

He fell as he was about to eat Turn 10 on the final lap. The racer from Magetan admitted that he was overwhelmed by the start from behind position.

Despite failing to finish, Mario Aji still took the positive side of this race. "I started well, overtook many riders in the early laps," the rider said on the team's official website, quoted via Antara.

"That's a positive thing in this race, fighting with a lot of riders even though they are weak on the straight."

"Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the race. I made a mistake at Turn 10, and fell. Now I just want to think about racing in Malaysia."

There are two more Moto3 2022 races left. Next, the riders will race at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, 21-23 October.
