JAKARTA - Putri Kusuma Wardani along with 15 other Indonesian representatives advanced into the round of 16 of the 2022 Internatonal Challenge Indonesia badminton tournament Malang series which took place 11-16 October.

Head of Public Relations and Media of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) Broto Happy hopes that Putri KW et al will be able to maintain the chances of the Red and White Troops in the event.

"Hopefully, the remaining players can still keep their hopes and can play well and tomorrow win the last eight tickets," Broto said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday.

Broto explained, of the 16 Indonesian representatives, the representatives in the men's singles number, there were three representatives, four women's singles, two pairs of men's doubles, two pairs of women's doubles and two pairs of mixed doubles.

"This player is expected to be able to maintain Indonesia's hopes in the tournament," he said.

In the tournament with a prize of 15 thousand United States (US) dollars, 132 players were participated from abroad and the rest were from within the country.
