Director Of PT LIB Becomes A Suspect Of Tracing, Menpora: Run And Respect The Process

JAKARTA - Menpora Zainudin Amali responded to the news from the Director of PT. LIB, Ahmad Hadian Lukita as one of six suspects in the Kanjuruhan tragedy.

Menpora advised Lukita to continue to undergo and respect the current law, because everything is based on the principle of presumption of innocence which will later return to the court's decision.

"Yes, I think it's a legal process. Just go through it. The police have a reason, we just respect it. Just go, if you are not guilty, the court will decide. So, everything that has been conveyed remains based on the principle of presumption of innocence," said Zainudin Amali in a statement after meeting President Joko Widodo.

"We respect that and what the police are doing is the President's direction to be fast and complete, both to the police and the TGIPF," Zainudin added.

Ahmad Hadian Lukita was named a suspect after an investigation and investigation related to the Kanjuruhan tragedy that killed 131 people. From this result, the police have named five other suspects on Thursday, October 6.

Three suspects from the football element are PT LIB President Director, Akhmad Hadian Lukita, Arema FC Panpel Chair Abdul Haris, and Arema Security Officer, Suko Sutrisno.

The three names above are charged with Article 359 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 360 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 130 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 52 of Law Number 11 of 2022.

Meanwhile, the other three suspects came from the police, namely the Head of Ops of the Malang Police, Kompol Wahyu Setyo Pranoto, Head of Samapta Police Malang AKP Bambang Sidik Achmadi, and the Commander of the Brimob Company of the East Java Police, AKP Hasdarman.

In addition to the six names named by the suspect, the police also examined 31 Polri personnel. From that result, 20 people were found to be suspected of violating the code of ethics.

They consist of four main officials from the Malang Police, two personnel as supervisors and controllers, three personnel as the party who ordered the shooting of tear gas, as well as 11 personnel who fired tear gas.
