Waterfall Gas Returns To Victims, 1 People Dies As A Result Of A Heart Attack In The Center Of Panic

JAKARTA - Incidents in football that claimed lives have occurred again. This time in the Argentine League, the game for the La Plata vs Boca Juniors at Juan Carmelo Zeello Stadium, Friday, October 7.

One person died of a heart attack when the audience panicked avoiding tear gas.

Quoted from ESPN, the game against Bona Juniors was stopped by referee Hernan Mastrangelo in the ninth minute. The situation occurred because the tear gas fired by the police outside the stadium actually entered the match area because it was carried away by the wind.

This condition made thousands of spectators, players from both teams, to match officials experience pain in the eyes and shortness of breath. Thousands of supporters were then hit by panic and tried to leave the stands as soon as possible by entering the field area.

The panic that occurred due to tear gas left one person dead from a heart attack. Buenos Aires Provincial Security Chief, Sergio Berni confirmed this.

"Unfortunately one person died. He died of a heart attack during the riot, he died when he wanted to be transferred to the hospital," Berni said as quoted by ESPN.

The tear gas was shot outside the stadium due to clashes between the gamenasia fans and the police. Thousands of gamenasian supporters who did not have tickets tried to enter the stadium to watch the match against Boca.

The police who lost the number decided to fire rubber bullets and tear gas. The tear gas that was carried away by the wind into the stadium was the one that caused chaos in the game of Gimnasia vs Boca.

My child, who is still 2 years old, can't breathe. We all surrendered and worried about the people in the stands. This is crazy. We had an ordinary football game, and everything turned into this, feeling people closest to us almost died," said Gimnasia player Leonardo Morales.

In that match, none of the Boca Juniors supporters were actually present. The reason is, the Buenos Aires Government has banned guest supporters from attending every away match since 2013 because there have been frequent clashes.

The tear gas shooting incident occurred less than a week after the incident at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, which killed 131 people who were also caused by panic due to tear gas.
