JAKARTA - The high cost of travel and accommodation to watch the Qatar 2022 World Cup has become a conversation. Especially for the families and relatives of the British players.

Quoted from the Mirror, Harry Kane et al are predicted to have to spend a lot of money to finance the presence of family and relatives in Qatar while watching the 2022 World Cup

"They (players) will spend hundreds of thousands of pounds (billions of rupiah) on flights, luxury accommodation and travel fees for the winter tournament in Qatar," reads a report quoted from the Mirror's website on Wednesday.

Sources also said the family and relatives of the Three Lions players gathered at the Hilton Hotel, Wembley on Monday, September 26 before the duel between England vs Germany. There they received a briefing from the English Football Association (FA) regarding the cost of watching the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Brian, Jordan Henderson's father, instead decided not to go to Qatar because of the many considerations.

FA has provided accommodation for families and relatives of the England national team players. They provide hotels or offer lodging on luxury cruise ships at a price of 6 thousand pounds per package (Rp97 million).

The package offered does not include flights from Doha to Qatar which is only 35 minutes, but ticket fees increased by more than £600 (Rp9.7 million) due to high demand.

To realize the presence of family and relatives at least 10 people, some players can spend an overall fee of more than £100,000 (Rp1.6 billion). That amount includes travel costs and a month's cost of living in Qatar.

Meanwhile, Three Lions fans can choose a cheaper fee by staying on the cruise ship for £150 (Rp2.4 million) per night. That amount includes food and drinks for the fan category.
