JAKARTA - The relationship between the men's doubles badminton player, Kevin Sanjaya and his coach, Herry Iman Pierngadi, is heating up. Kevin stated that he no longer wanted to be trained by the man nicknamed the Fire Dragon.

Previously, it was known that Herry IP's relationship with Kevin had not been harmonious for a long time. However, the situation is getting hotter after the Indonesia Open 2022.

In an exclusive interview with one of the media, Kevin Sanjaya admitted that he no longer wanted to be coached by Herry IP. This was also confirmed by the coach.

"He said Kevin was no longer suitable for training with me. If he doesn't feel suitable anymore, then he doesn't have to practice with me," he added.

Kevin Sanjaya, said Herry, continues to train at the Cipayung National Training Center. However, he separated himself from the men's doubles squad which was raised by the coach nicknamed the Dragon of Fire.

"Now the training is with friends in Pratama and mix (mixed doubles). The training remains at national training, but does not join the men's doubles," said Herry.
