JAKARTA Erling Haaland has only failed to score goals against just two teams from the 10 teams he has faced in the European Champions League in 21 appearances so far.

The Norwegian forward made his latest appearance as he helped Manchester City win 2-1 over his former Borussia Dortmund team in the second match of Group G at the Etihad Stadium, Thursday 15 September.

The visitors took the lead in the 56th minute through a goal from Jude Bellingham. John Stones then equalized in the 80th minute before Haaland doubled City's goal four minutes later.

One goal against Dortmund made Haaland now have scored 26 goals in the highest caste between the European clubs with an average score of 62 minutes per goal.

Of his 21 appearances, the former RB Salzburg player only failed to score goals against City and Ajax Amsterdam. The goal of ten other teams has already felt Haaland's sharpness.

The ten teams Haaland has broken into are Sevilla, Club Brugge, Genk, Napoli, Besiktas, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Lazio, Zenit Petersburg, and most recently of course Dortmund.

In addition, this goal makes Haaland the youngest player in Champions League history to score goals for and fight the same team in the competition.

His record surpassed Alvaro Morata who previously scored for and against Real Madrid at the age of 22 194 days.
