JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta defender Ondrej Kudela is included in the ranks of players who were called by the Czech national team to appear at the UEFA Nations League at the end of September.

The news of Kudela being included in the core squad of the Czech national team is known from the official Instagram upload of the Czech national team @ceskarepre. In the photo shared, Tuesday night, the name Kudela is listed on the list of 20 players who were called.

In the UEFA Nations League later, the Czechs will meet Portugal as the first opponent on September 24. They will then face Switzerland on September 27.

The inclusion of Kudela in the Czech national team squad will see him play alongside several big names such as Tomas Soucek, Jakub Jankto, and Patrik Schick. The last name is Bayer Leverkusen's player who has made nine appearances with the Czech national team.

If Kudela is actually played by the Czech national team against Portugal, it is not impossible that the 35-year-old defender will face the Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo.
