Ended 0-0 Against Persik, PSM Makassar Coach Disappointed With Referee

JAKARTA - The Persik Kediri team played with a 0-0 draw against the visitors, PSM Makassar in the continued match of the 2022/2023 Indonesian League 1 competition at the Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri, East Java, Friday, September 2 night.

Both teams attacked each other since the first half whistle sounded. Several opportunities from both teams in sight, but failed at the end. Until halftime, the score was still the same 0-0.

The second half match, the tempo of the game is also increasing. Several chances of scoring a goal also failed. Until the end of the match the score remained the same 0-0.

However, during the match there was a flood of cards. Referee Zetman Pangaruan who led the match issued eight yellow cards and two red cards. In fact, PSM Captain Wiljan Pluim and Persik midfielder Adi Eko were expelled by the referee after receiving a red card.

The second yellow card for PSM captain, Wiljan Pluim minutes to 45+1. After that, referee Zetman gave a red card to Pluim.

During the second half match, Akbar Tanjung got a yellow card in the 62nd minute. Then, Yusuf Meilana also got a yellow card in the 65th minute. Yusuf strongly violated Yakob Sayuri.

Captain Persik, Arthur Irawan also received a yellow card three minutes later. He violated Ramadhan Sananta who baited the heart of Persik's defense.

In the 71st minute, the yellow card came back out of referee Zetman's pocket for Agung Mannan who violated Abiyoso.

Adi Eko received a yellow card in the 75th minute. And the 82nd minute again received a yellow card following a red card after violating Yakob Sayuri. Until finally Adi Eko had to leave the field.

PSM Makassar coach Bernardo Tavares admitted that he was disappointed with the referee's leadership. He felt that with the referee's attitude, the team was harmed.

"The referee must be fair. I saw that the referee blamed PSM Makassar and Persik a lot. Every time he won the match ball when the counter was stopped by the referee," he said disappointed.

He did not really like the draw. However, the players are also expected to remain humble to take advantage.

Meanwhile, Persik Kediri coach representative Jan Saragih admitted to giving appreciation to the players. Even though it has to be balanced, Persik still gets one point.

"We appreciate the players. We know whose opponent is in what position. After this, we will focus on two matches that will not take long," said Jan.
