Arema FC Vs Persija Jakarta: Singo Edan Not Fears The 'Turing' Of The Kemayoran Tigers

MALANG - Arema FC will host Persija Jakarta at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, East Java, in the seventh week of Liga 1 2022/2023, Sunday, August 28.

The fight is believed to be fierce considering that both teams are inhabited by quality players, especially up front.

Arema FC coach Eduardo Almeida admitted that the "taring" of the Kemayoran Tigers was very sharp. It is proven by the eight goals that have been created in six matches.

"They do have advantages up front, but we also have to be confident that our team is also a good team," said Almeida, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 27.

Almeida admitted that he had prepared his team to perform optimally in this match. He also believes his team can score goals and beat the opponent.

The Arema FC coach then commented on the figure of Thomas Doll, Persija's boss. He admitted that the German was a quality figure.

However, according to Almeida, the match between the two coaches will not be a match, but a match between teams.

"For Persija coach he did his job well, he built a strong team, but it needs to be known tomorrow we will not fight the coach, but against the team. We are preparing a team to get three points," he said.

He added that Arema FC players are currently in good condition and do not get into trouble due to a fairly busy match schedule. He also considered that Persija Jakarta also had the same challenge.

"For the recovery of players there is no problem, we are the same as Persija. So that is not the reason and the players are professional players," he said.

As is known, Arema FC is in 8th place in the 2022/2023 Liga 1 season standings by pocketing ten points. Meanwhile, the Kemyaoran Tiger team is in sixth position by pocketing 11 points.
