Eden Hazard Refuses To Move To Galatasaray

JAKARTA - Eden Hazard is said to have refused to move to Turkish giants Galatasaray even though Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to let him go.

Hazard joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee of 115 million euros. However, the former Chelsea star has not lived up to the expectations of the Spanish capital side due to injury problems and poor form.

Spanish media, El Nacional, reports that Madrid have now received an offer from Galatasaray regarding Hazard. Florentino Perez was enthusiastic about the offer even though the player has a contract until 2024.

However, Hazard seems to have refused to accept the offer from the Turkish giants. The Belgium international reportedly only wants to move to an elite European club like his former team Chelsea.

However, it is rather impossible for Chelsea to get the signature of their former player. To that end, Hazard is likely to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, but has not played regularly in the first team this season.

This season, the former Chelsea striker has only appeared twice as a substitute in La Liga. He has a total playing time of 39 minutes.

Despite only getting a few chances to play, Hazard is aware that the competition for a place in the starting XI is quite open. Seeing this prospect, it makes sense for Hazard to refuse to leave for Turkey.

In addition, Florentino Perez and coach Carlo Ancelotti have different opinions regarding the 31-year-old player. Ancelotti himself still needs Hazard for the 2022/2023 season.
