Breasts Are Too Big, Ring Girl Sev Philippou Slams Promoter For Not Showing Herself Hours Before The Fight

JAKARTA - Sev Philippou, a boxing ring girl criticized the promoter who worked with her. Philippou did this because he felt humiliated.

Philippou will actually be in charge in the ring in the match between Anthony Mundine and Danny Green in 2017. However, he canceled the show on the grounds that her breasts were too big.

Quoted from the Daily Mail, Tuesday, Philippou claimed that he had been initially chosen by the organizers as one of the four girls to be included. However, just hours before the fight, Philippou received word that he would not be working that night.

The 25-year-old beautiful woman told the news that she would not be able to get into the ring after she finished wearing a costume to perform.

Philippou, who works as a model, told The Advertiser in 2017: "It's so unfair, I'm still shocked because before there were no problems. There were no problems when I wore the costume. If it was wrong they could have asked me to change it ( costume),"

“It's like discriminating against me because my boobs are real, and they didn't say a word about it when I changed costumes. Nobody apologized, I was just ignored," Philippou said.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the South Australian Tourism Commission told Daily Mail Australia that the promoter has the final say on all aspects of the event.

"Casting is managed by the promoter and is subject to the terms of the event," a spokesperson said.

After receiving rejection from the event, Philippou immediately spoke through his Facebook account.

"I'm so proud of my real boobs," she wrote.

"I refuse to sit idly by and be told I don't fit the ridiculous standards of what a ring girl should look like to represent South Australia to the world."

"Especially when the Boxing Association wanted my performance and chose me to represent their sport tonight," Philippou said.

Despite Philippou's frustration, Green won the match through a split point decision by the judges with a score of 94-94, 96-94 and 98-90.

Green ended his career with a win that night, but Mundine continued four more fights before hanging up his gloves in 2021.
