JAKARTA - Two Indonesian racers achieved impressive results in the first race of the third ARRC 2022 series which was held on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Wahyu Aji Trilaksana and Andi Farid Izdihar took the podium in the race which took place at the Sugo International Racing Course, Japan.

Wahyu Aji won the Underbone 150cc class. He beat Thailand's Peerapong Luiboonpeng and Filipino champion John Emerson Inguito, who finished second and third.

"This was a fantastic race for me, to be on the podium once again. Overall, the team and I had good communication and I was immersed in tremendous positive energy from the start of the race," said Wahyu Aji after the race.

"Throughout the race, I focused on myself and kept going. I am happy that the effort ended in victory," he continued.

Meanwhile, Andi Farid or who is familiarly called Andi Gilang, won the second podium in the Supersport 600 class. Had dreamed of racing from the start, he had to settle for being overtaken by the host racer, Arakawa City, who eventually came out as champion.

Andi Gilang 4.417 seconds adrift from the City. While the third podium was also occupied by Japanese racer Keito Abe who was 6,038 seconds adrift of the winner.

While in the Asia Production 250 class, senior racer Reynaldo C Ratukore managed to finish in fourth position. While Rafid Topan finished the race in seventh position.

While the leader of the standings, Andy Muhammad Fadly finished in 12th position. His rival, Rheza Danica Ahrens, finished in 14th position.
