Future Preparations If Later Hanging Rackets, Badminton Player Putri Kusuma Registers To Become Policewomen

JAKARTA - Putri Kusuma Wardani (Putri KW), a national women's singles badminton player, has officially entered her career as a female Police candidate (Polwan) and is currently studying at the Ciputat Policewomen Education Center, South Tangerang, Banten.

Even though she started her profession as a policewoman candidate, the Central Board of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PP PBSI) ensured that Putri KW would still be part of the national team for the tepok bulu sport which is headquartered at the Cipayung National Training Center, East Jakarta.

"So apart from being a badminton athlete, Putri also has a dream to become a civil servant. In this case she aspires to become a female police officer. This is a guarantee for her future after hanging up her racket from badminton," said the Head of Public Relations and Media. PP PBSI Broto Happy quotes Antara, Saturday, July 23.

According to PBSI, Putri's choice of career as a Policewoman is part of her future guarantee after retiring.

Broto said, Putri had actually harbored a dream to become a civil servant and it was only in 2022 that her dream began to come true, and from the beginning she received support and a positive response from the Secretary General of PP PBSI, Fadil Imran. This year, Putri officially became a female police candidate with compulsory education.

During his education, the athlete who was born in Tangerang, July 20, 2002, has promised to work twice as much. In addition, PBSI also hopes that Putri KW can be more enthusiastic and motivated to continue to excel.

"This means that during her education in the Women's Police, Putri will also continue to practice badminton extra hard. That way, when one day her energy is needed to defend the Red and White squad in the international arena, Putri is ready," he added.

"We hope that this will make his motivation even more doubled to achieve achievements in international events in the future," concluded Broto Happy.
