Floods Of Support After Being Declared To Have A Testicular Tumor, New Borussia Dortmund Player Sebastian Haller: This Is Only One Test On The Way

JAKARTA - Borussia Dortmund player, Sebastien Haller, received a lot of support from his fellow footballers after he was diagnosed with a testicular tumor. The situation left Haller emotional and touched.

Haller was first diagnosed with a testicular tumor after undergoing a medical at pre-season training camp. The results revealed Haller had a testicular tumor.

The player who was brought in from Ajax Amsterdam then left the camp in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland and focused on handling for his recovery.

When news of Haller suffering from a testicular tumor spread, support came to him to keep fighting. Haller was touched because he didn't expect so many people to love him so much.

"Thank you for your many messages of support and love since yesterday's announcement. My family and I thank you. Now I will focus on my recovery to come back stronger," Haller wrote on his Instagram account quoted from The Sun.

"I want to thank you once again from the bottom of my heart for all the warm messages received. I am so touched to see this beautiful reaction and I even feel I don't deserve it," he continued.

Aware of the amount of support that flows, Haller seems to get an injection of encouragement. He then determined to recover in order to be able to offer the best.

"But I know that this (illness) will only be one more test on the way. See you on the pitch to celebrate our next win."

Previously, the German club ensured they would provide the best treatment for the healing process of the new player.

For the sake of convenience, Dortmund also emphasizes that the privacy of Haller and his family remains a priority. They will also continue to update regularly about the progress of the player.

"Dortmund requests that the privacy of the player and his family be respected and that no questions are asked," said Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl.

"As soon as we have more information, we will inform you and consult with the player," Kehl added.

Dortmund signed Haller earlier this summer. The brilliant performance shown by the player from the Ivory Coast with Ajax Amsterdam last season was suspected to be an attraction for Dortmund to bring him.

During his time at Ajax, Haller was recorded to have scored 34 goals and nine assists from 43 appearances.
