JAKARTA - A thrilling incident experienced by Chelsea and AC Milan star Tiemoue Bakayoko. He was pointed at a gun by police officers when he stopped.

Dramatic video footage shows the midfielder being pulled out of a car by armed police in Milan. Bakayoko was then searched on the side of the road.

Bakayoko was reported to have reached a roadblock in the Porta Garibaldi area when he was forced out of his vehicle at gunpoint.

The 27-year-old Frenchman, who was on loan by Chelsea to Milan last season, was seen caught in a police car.

A male officer appears to have thoroughly searched Bakayoko. Meanwhile, the other two police officers kept their guns at his vehicle.

However, the officers later realized they had the wrong person. One of the officers can be seen cautiously approaching his partner, keeping his gun back in its holster.

The officers who carried out the search looked surprised when told they were searching for a former Napoli player, not the suspect they were looking for.

The bearded policeman looked apologetic, putting his hand on Bakayoko's back after realizing his embarrassing mistake. Bakayoko is known to be quickly released by officers after the extraordinary chaos.

Fans instead praised Bakayoko on social media for remaining calm when the police ransacked his pockets.

Bakayoko is an AC Milan player on loan from Chelsea. But reportedly, Bakayoko will leave Chelsea after five years under contract with the club.
