David Beckham Terrorized By 58-Year-Old Woman Through Letters: I Have Feelings For You

JAKARTA - Former soccer player David Beckham received terror in the form of a letter. The letter was sent by a 58-year-old woman named Sharon Bell.

Bell sent a total of three letters to the former Manchester star. In his letters he admitted that Beckham and wife Victoria owed him.

"I got your address from the detective agency, I hope you don't mind. I have feelings for you, David," Bell wrote as read during a court hearing, as reported by Marca.

"Victoria owes me some money, David, because she has been robbing my bank account for years. I would have appreciated it if she had not been there," the letter continued.

In a subsequent letter Bell admitted that he had fallen in love with the former Real Madrid player since childhood. He also asked that Beckham would come to his house to chat.

"Please be there, otherwise someone will go to the press and say you both have my bank account number. Well, that wouldn't look good," Bell wrote.

"You said if I wrote you a letter first and was unarmed (which I would) then I could come in for a chat and have some tea (Earl Gray is my favorite tea)," he added.

"I really want to chat with you, so can I come in for a chat?"

Beckham himself admitted that he did not know Sharon at all. For that he felt so disturbed and threatened by the letters he received.

"I felt the language in the letter increased and became more emotional and threatening to me and my family and this worries me," she said.

"The letters became more and more threatening and it was clear the woman knew where I lived," Beckham added.

Sending a letter to Beckham got Bell charged. However, he is not facing a criminal trial because his actions are considered to be the effect of mental health problems.

According to UK health law, Bell only needs treatment.
