Alex Rins On His Future In MotoGP: Everyone Can Predict

JAKARTA - Suzuki Ecstar racer, Alex Rins, thinks that everyone can already guess where he will land in MotoGP 2023. He admits that he is almost certain to join LCR Honda.

Rins admitted that he would replace Alex Marquez, who had moved to Gresini Racing. He said the agreement with LCR Honda was almost complete.

"Everyone can imagine where I will go next season with the departure of Alex Marquez to Gresini," Rins said, as reported by Crash.

"However, nothing is official yet because I have not signed, the final signature. However, we are close enough so maybe in the following days it will be finished," he continued.

Previously, Rins had explained why he joined LCR Honda. He said the Honda satellite team promised to provide factory-spec motorcycles.

This is what Gresini Racing, who has also approached, cannot afford.

"I was looking for a factory bike and Honad was able to give me that possibility. It's a good prospect because at the moment, it's not good in terms of results," said Rins.

"So let's see if we can make a good bike. I like challenges."

"I think we did a very good job (in developing the bike) at Suzuki and we can do the same for Lucio (Checchinello, LCR Honda boss)," concluded Rins.
