Glazer Family Gets Dividend From Manchester United, Angry Fans: Irresponsible Decision!

JAKARTA - Manchester United supporters are angry. The reason is the club's policy in the matter of distributing dividends to shareholders.

One of the dividends will be the Glazer family, including chief executives Joel and Avram. Reportedly, they will receive the bulk of the £11 million stock dividend.

Supporters of the club who are members of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust (MUST) said the decision was completely irresponsible. The reason, the money should be used to buy new players.

"Today the Glazer family paid themselves the lion's share of the £11 million dividend at the end of one of the worst seasons in the club's history," MUST said as reported by ESPN.

"The reward for failure is bad practice in any business world, and totally unacceptable given the current state of affairs at United," they continued.

MU fans are very disappointed with the owner of this club after the same time they saw Manchester City and Liverpool actually smooth shopping for players.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has asked the Glazer family to stop paying dividends for three years. In exchange, the money is used to upgrade the squad and the club's playing facilities.

"The Glazers shouldn't have taken the 11 million pound dividend," tweeted the man who is now a Sky Sports commentator.
