JAKARTA - Indonesian racer Mario Suryo Aji managed to improve his performance in the 2022 Dutch Moto3 race at Assen Circuit on Sunday.

Despite only finishing in 18th place, Mario Aji performed better than the previous series in Germany which finished in a distended position.

At the Assen Circuit, Mario Aji started the race from 27th position or fourth from behind. He tried to steal the opportunity and managed to improve his position to 24th on the third lap.

This Indonesian racer managed to overtake to position 23 on the eighth lap. However, it did not last long, because Alberto Surra overtook him.

On the 17th lap, Mario Aji again slipped to position 25 after being preceded by Joshua Whatley.

Dennis Foggia's accident at the second corner of the 18th lap had made Mario Aji improve his position to number 24.

After moving up one position, he returned to 24th and finally ended the race in 18th after another accident involving Jaume Masia, David Munoz and John Mcphee.

This race itself ended with Ayumu Sasaki as the champion as well as his first win of the season.
