Artists From The United States Create A Stadium Concept With A Capacity Of 1 Million Spectators!

JAKARTA - American artist Paul Pfeiffer created a stadium concept with a capacity of one million seats. The idea is a bit difficult to implement in the real world.

The artwork is known as the “Vitruvian Figure” and has been circulating widely on social media. Even several well-known sports media accounts, including ESPN FC, also uploaded Pfeiffer's gift.

The stadium the artist created is a 10-foot-tall model of the stadium. He took inspiration from the 110,000 capacity Sydney Olympic Stadium, which hosted the inaugural 2000 Olympics.

However, Pfeiffer's idea is considered by some to be rather difficult to implement. The reason is, to be able to realize it into a football team's stadium, it takes a lot of logistics

Not to mention imagining a parking space for the stadium. Of course it has to stretch for miles. In addition, what will the queue of spectators look like, whether they want to go to the bathroom or buy snacks at food outlets.

With a capacity of one million seats, spectators who are at the very top of the stands will have difficulty seeing the players on the field.

It could be that the actions of Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi on the field have to be watched using binoculars from the stands of Pfeiffer's futuristic installation.

For that, for some parties, the concept of a stadium like that might only be able to accommodate ants. However, Pfeiffer's experiments are still very interesting.

Currently, the largest football stadium in the world is the Rungrado First Of May Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea. The stadium has a capacity of 114,000 to 150,000 people.

The largest football stadium in Europe today is Barcelona's Camp Nou with a capacity of almost 100 thousand seats. Currently the stadium is being proposed for redesign to accommodate 110,000 people.
