JAKARTA - Former Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, has signaled that he is ready to return to coaching. The hint he conveyed in the midst of rumors linking him to Paris Saint-Germain.

The bald-headed figure was later touted as Mauricio Pochettino's successor at PSG. Moreover, he is currently not under contract with any team since leaving Madrid in 2021.

Zidane himself did not confirm or deny rumors related to PSG. However, he recently gave indications that he might return to coaching in the near future.

"Can I still contribute a lot as a coach? Yes, a lot, or I think I can at least contribute to a few things!" he said to Telefoot.

Currently, Pochettino's position in the Les Parisien squad is reportedly not safe even though he led the team to win the league. The club is even said to have found an agreement to terminate the contract with the Argentine coach.

This made the public begin to wonder who could occupy the post he left. Apart from Zidane, several names have also started to be linked with the French giants, including Nice coach Christophe Galtier.

The last name is rumored to have a greater chance of replacing Pochettino. This is because Zidane is reportedly more eyeing the coach position in the French national team replacing Didier Deschamps.

"I want to continue my career as a coach because I still have the desire. Coaching is my passion. I'm 50 years old, satisfied, I'm happy, that's the most important thing," Zidane said.

Real Madrid is the only senior-level team Zidane has coached since his debut as coach in 2016. The club he had played for as a player between 2001 and 2006 he coached in two different periods.

During his coaching Los Blancos he managed to win an incredible 11 trophies. Those titles include two La Liga Spangol trophies and three European Champions Leagues which he won in succession.
