JAKARTA - Indonesian racer, Mario Aji, had a gloomy weekend during the German Moto3 race at the Sachsenring Circuit. Difficulties have been experienced since the first free practice session.

The record time he achieved was far from satisfactory. During the race, bad luck befell the Honda Team Asia rider. He barely even finished the race.

"It was a difficult weekend for us. We fought hard since Friday. In the race, I got a lot of positions after starting from 29th position," said Mario Aji, as in a release received by VOI.

"But I almost fell because of the high side. Something was damaged on the motorbike, and also the airbag was inflated. I entered the pits to repair the motorbike and returned to racing," he continued.

Mario Aji managed to finish the race in 23rd position. He is five laps adrift of the winner, Izan Guevara.

The racer fostered by the Astra Honda Racing Team certainly regrets the results obtained at the Sachsenring Circuit. However, Mario Aji is already looking at the next race, namely the Dutch MotoGP, next weekend.

"It's a pity, but we will race again next weekend, this time in Assen. A new option for good results before the summer break," said Mario Aji.
