JAKARTA - Logistics for the Samota Sumbawa Motocross Grand Prix (MXGP) event, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province which will be held from June 24-26, have started to arrive via Lombok International Airport, Central Lombok Regency.

"Today, the logistics for MXGP are starting to arrive. The logistics for this crossover motorcycle race are carried on three flights," said General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I Lombok Airport, Rahmat Adil Indrawan in Praya, Saturday, June 18.

The logistics for the MXGP event were carried using a Boeing 737-300 Freighter type cargo plane from Jakarta to Lombok Airport, which arrived at 16.00 WITA.

Furthermore, the second logistics arrival will arrive at 17.30 WITA and another cargo plane will arrive on Sunday, June 19 at around 08.00 WITA.

"The total logistics for the upcoming MXGP will be 54 pallets weighing 30 tons. For this first flight there are 9 pallets weighing 14 tons. The incoming MXGP logistics consists of motorbikes and other racing vehicle equipment," he said.

After arriving at Lombok Airport, the MXGP logistics will be transported using 10 trucks by land and sea to Sumbawa.

Meanwhile, MXGP riders and crew are scheduled to arrive starting on June 23 using a chater flight via Lombok Airport, then they will be dispatched to Sumbawa Airport.
