JAKARTA - Indonesian men's doubles, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon, qualified for the semifinals of the Indonesia Masters 2022. The Minions won the top four tickets after defeating the Malaysian pair, Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin.

The performance of Kevin / Marcus was also sensational. After losing easily 10-21 in the first game, the Indonesian pair rose to win the next two games with a score of 21-11 and 21-18.

In the first game, Kevin/Marcus did not perform well. Had a 3-2 lead, the Minions always left points behind the Malaysian pair. At the interval, they were 4-11 behind.

Goh/Izzuddin continued to maintain their lead. Kevin/Marcus were not given a chance to get up. In fact, they lead 20-9. The Indonesian pair stole one point before finally losing 10-21 in the first game.

Kevin/Marcus improved their performance in the second game until they took a 6-4 lead. However, the Malaysian pair tried not to give The Minions a chance to rise.
