JAKARTA - ROKiT Venturi Racing driver Lucas di Grassi praised the character of the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) Ancol, which will be the venue for Formula E, next June 4. According to him, this circuit is a perfect blend of types of bends.

The former Formula 1 driver said that there are corners with low, medium and high speeds at JIEC. This is said to be a test of every aspect of the car's performance.

"This circuit is very tight and very technical, a form of challenge in Formula E and street circuit racing," said Di Grassi on the official Formula E website.

For Di Grassi and other Formula E drivers, this will be their first experience with JIEC. The challenge is getting bigger because they don't really know the character of the circuit.

"At this stage, we have done some good preparations in the simulator. However, we need to verify this work in actual practice," said Di Grassi.

"So far this season, we have shown very good pace and we know that we can fight at the front. So this is the target for this weekend."

The Jakarta Formula E race will be held at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) Ancol, North Jakarta, June 4. The agenda begins with the first free practice session starting at 07.15 WIB.

Then continued the second free practice session at 09.00 WIB and the qualifying round which was held at 10.40 WIB. The race itself will start at 15.03 WIB.
