Preparations Almost Complete, Anies Says Jakarta Is Ready To Hold Formula E

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan ensured that the Capital City is ready to hold the Formula E event, which has three days remaining. Because, the overall preparation is only a few percent.

"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful, the preparations went smoothly and now on June 1, three days from the implementation, it can be said that the entire preparation phase has been completed," Anies told reporters, Wednesday, June 1.

Currently, preparations are in the final stages. The committee team just needs to finish painting and installing stickers. "It is only cosmetic, such as painting, installing stickers. But if everything is of a substance nature, the Jakarta E-Prix is ready," he said.

Anies also ensured that the final stage of the completion process would be completed in the next few days. Thus, the Formula E event is ready to be implemented.

"God willing, in the next few days everything will be completed, the racers will also arrive in Jakarta this afternoon 100 percent," said Anies.

For information, Formula E Jakarta or Jakarta E-Prix will be held at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) Ancol on Saturday, June 4. Currently, tickets to watch the electric car race have been sold.

Meanwhile, the Formula E racing car itself has begun to come to Indonesia gradually starting last Sunday, May 22. In total, 22 cars from 11 teams were sent to Indonesia.
