Get To Know The Multitalented UFC Fighter Valentina Shevchenko: Skilled At Dancing, Acting To Shooting

JAKARTA - UFC Women's Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko is an extraordinary fighter in the Octagon. However, that was only one of the many talents he possessed.

This Kyrgyz-Peruvian descent fighter turns out to have many abilities. She is good at dancing, climbing in a bikini, acting, and even shooting competitively. Each of his activities he often shares on his Instagram social media which has 2.5 million followers.

Fans can see the 34-year-old's luxurious lifestyle, from appearing in films with Halle Berry to shooting rifles from a distance.

Shooting Competition

Launching the Daily Star, Sunday, May 19, Shevchenko was introduced to weapons by trainer Pavel Fedotov, a former Soviet soldier. His antics with the gun are frequently posted on social media - and even on UFC cameras.

“I started shooting in 2008. Pavel started training us in Russia and we did a lot of defensive pistol competitions,” says Valentina.

Peruvian Dance

Shevchenko isn't the first fighter to decide to go on a reality TV show - but in his case, things are a little different.

She took part in a Peruvian broadcast called Combate - and she ended up winning with her dance partner.

The show even featured a segway where Shevchenko faced pro boxer David Zegarra in an exhibition wrestling match. He defeated the assassin in less than a minute.

Regarding his dance, it is not surprising that on certain occasions he dances after winning after the victory at the UFC.

Hiking in Bikini

Shevchenko enjoys the great outdoors and even the rocky terrain. Unsurprisingly, he enjoys showing off his rock-hard abs when he does - leaving his followers stunned.

It's not every day that we see an athlete posting pictures of them simply wandering in a puddle wearing nothing but a tiny bikini. But that's precisely where this UFC star is different from most people.

Of course, the UFC is Shevchenko's 'bread' and 'butter'. A veteran fighter, he has amassed an impressive record of 22 wins and three losses in the octagon.

Her biggest achievement is arguably winning the flyweight title, beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, and 49-46).

Since then, he has defended his title six times - and is still the champion to this day.

Acting

Shevchenko appeared in the Netflix sports film Bruised alongside Hollywood actress Halle Berry.

In fact, she played the mortal enemy of the Hollywood actress in the film - Lucia "Lady Killer" Chavez, who is an Argentine MMA champion.

The film received mixed reviews and premiered at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival.
