Marc Marquez Hopes The Spanish MotoGP Race At The Jerez Circuit Runs Easier

JAKARTA - Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, said the sixth series of the 2022 MotoGP race will be very important for his team. He hopes that the race which will be held at the Jerez Circuit, Spain, can run more easily.

The Spanish MotoGP series is scheduled to start on April 29. The new racing session will take place on May 1.

"This is an important ending for us to continue to grow and get closer to the future," said Marc Marquez, on the team's official website.

"Portimao was a complicated weekend for us, so I hope everything at Jerez will be easier," continued the rider nicknamed The Baby Alien.

The holder of six MotoGP world titles hopes that his team can work well throughout the weekend. Of course, he wants to have a competitive motorbike to be able to fight for victory, at least the podium.

Marquez himself said he was happy to finally be back racing in his country. He can't wait to see the enthusiasm of the Spanish public who will fill the Jerez Circuit.

"I'm happy to arrive at Jerez and see the fans in Spain. This is a very special circuit, not only because of its history but also the atmosphere during the race," he said.

"After some difficult years, I hope all the fans can come and enjoy it," continued Marc Marquez.
