JAKARTA - MotoGP 2022 has entered its fifth series. The next race will be held in Portugal from April 22-24.

In MotoGP Portugal, the race schedule is fairly friendly for the audience in Indonesia. The reason is, unlike the MotoGP Argentina and the United States which were held in the early hours of the morning, the series in Europe will be held in prime time.

The MotoGP Portugal 2022 agenda will start with free practice (FP) 1 and 2 on Friday, 22 April. Then there will be FP 3, FP 4 and the qualifying round which will be held on Saturday, April 23.

Meanwhile, the race day schedule will be held on Sunday, April 24. Located at the Algarve Circuit, the determination of the podium winners will begin at 19.00 WIB.

Last season, the Portimao Circuit held two races for the 2021 MotoGP, namely the Portuguese MotoGP and the Algarve MotoGP instead of the Australian MotoGP which had to be canceled due to the high number of COVID-19.

At that time, Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo won the Portuguese MotoGP after defeating Francesco Bagnaia and Joan Mir. While at the Algarve MotoGP, it was Bagnaia's turn to win after defeating Joan Mir and Jack Miller.
